Privacy Policy

Tendari is a free, independent service that aggregates public-sector IT & software tenders from the EU TED database into one searchable feed. This policy explains the only personal data we handle — your email address — and how we treat it. We collect as little as possible by design.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign up for tender alerts.
• Optional filter interests — if you sign up from a country or category page, or with filters active, we store those slugs (for example estonia or software) so the digest can be relevant. These are only the filters you yourself selected.
• A consent timestamp and the tokens that power your confirmation and unsubscribe links.

We do not collect names, create accounts, profile you, or run advertising or analytics trackers. Browsing the site is anonymous.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your email solely to send you the Tendari digest of new tenders you asked for. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given through a double opt-in: after you sign up we email you a confirmation link, and we only ever send the digest once you click it. An unconfirmed address never receives anything except that one confirmation.

Cookies

Tendari sets no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. We use a single functional value in your browser’s local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference — it never leaves your device.

Where your data is stored

Subscriber data is stored in the EU, in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Email delivery is handled by Resend, Inc. (United States) as our processor, under a Data Processing Agreement with appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). To send you a confirmation or a digest, your email address is shared with Resend for that delivery only.

How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed signups are deleted automatically within 7 days if you don’t confirm.
• Confirmed subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.
• After you unsubscribe we keep a minimal record — your email and an “unsubscribed” flag — so we can be sure never to email you again. You can ask us to erase that record entirely at any time.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link (and the standard list-unsubscribe header your mail app understands). Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and stops all further email.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to withdraw consent (just unsubscribe), to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your email will be communicated to confirmed subscribers.
